The Area of Disease Control and Guidance for Travelers (in Brazil,Área de Orientação e Controle Sanitário de Viajantes) is responsible for establishing measures that reduce the risk of diseases in travelers that are relevant to public health. Similarly, passenger freight companies should comply with laws, provide orientation and demand that travelers present the necessary documents, in addition to adopting the measures set forth by health authorities in relation to events that are in the interest of public health. Travelers should provide all necessary information and support established measures. That is, we should all join forces to protect the health of the population.
Consequently, the most important measure is health care information that targets prevention or reduction of the risk of exposure to diseases.
